St. Peter’s Church has been the centre of the village for hundreds of years, a focus for the Community.

Services are held every Sunday when the bells are rung. The church is available for baptisms, weddings and funerals - all the changing scenes of life. The door is always open providing a place for peace, quiet and prayer, attracting many visitors and walkers.

The schoolchildren come for assembly once a week, for special  performances and end of term services. There is a thriving choir and team of bell ringers.

When extra funds are needed, everyone rallies round. This was amply demonstrated when the tenor bell broke from its moorings in 2008.  The response was such that twice the amount needed for the repair was raised in a matter of weeks.
